Human Resources Compliance Coordinator

Department: HR/Recruiting
Location: Rochester, NY

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Compliance Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of personnel compliance in accordance with federal, state, and Department of Health regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compliance data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
  • Collect and maintain data required to prevent employees from falling out of compliance.
  • Communicate upcoming compliance needs to all appropriate parties.
  • Ensure all compliance documents are complete, accurate, and uploaded in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain influenza/HERDS reporting annually.
  • Assist with Covid check-ins for internal staff.
  • Assist with follow up of On-Call Report/employee clearance to return to work.
  • Monitoring CHRC and HCR twice daily for change in status.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with employee requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Human Resources Supervisor

Pay: $20 per hour

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize assignments and responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent human relations and customer service skills.
  • Ability to relate to diverse and multi-cultural populations.
  • Appearance is professional and complies with agency dress code.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities.
  • Pass a physical examination and immunization requirements after being offered employment and complete a health assessment annually.
  • Possess a current, valid New York State driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Completion of CCOR's orientation program.

  • May be exposed to weather and temperature extremes.
